Me: Gah! I can't remember why I came in here.
From the living room, not looking up from iPhone Solitaire...
D: I'm going to bet it was to eat a hard boiled egg white.
Me: Oh yeah, that was it.

Such is the life of this PCPer 2/3 of the way through the program. Every couple of hours I should be eating something, and chances are it's a hard boiled egg white. I don't even fuss with the mustard these days, I just pop those suckers in plain. I'm only up to 6 eggs a day (former PCPer, Mike, had to deal with 10!), so I guess I shouldn't complain.
Meanwhile -- Holy Hand Grenades, gang!! We're less than 2 weeks from Thanksgiving (for those in the US) and have 3o days left on our PCP plans. Where did the time go?!?
Happy 60 days to Emily, Naomi, Jonti, and Denise!
Haha, that's really funny!
ReplyDeleteI'm finding the same with the eggs and everything else—I'm becoming more of a purist. Instead of trying to disguise the food as something else or cover it up with other flavors, I just eat it outright.
Congratulations! I'm hoping indulgence 3 will coincide with the upcoming holiday...fingers crossed!
And toes!
ReplyDeleteMmm eggs! (Joke!) I agree Shelly, I just pop 'em in and finish 'em. I always remember Patrick's comment about the food being medicine for the body. When I think of his mantra it tends to makes eating anything bland or boring, much easier
ReplyDeleteEgg whites don't need any extra flavoring, especially if you just pop them in! You're lucky you've only got to eat six of them! I'm still eating a plethora of them!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on making it to Day 60! Woo-hoo! Way to go!!!
Every egg you eat will be a new little muscle fiber on your body. Unlike most of the snacks out there, they give back!
ReplyDeleteYep....I am in the habit of popping whites too. It's just easy.
ReplyDeleteHappy Day 60 or 2/3 done to all my PCPeeps (E,S,N ,J).
